Bio
I grew up in Rhode Island as part of a large Italian family, my parents being first-generation Americans. Although it was my deep desire to attend art school, I was given a choice of becoming a nurse or a teacher. I chose to be an elementary teacher and really enjoyed children and the many art activities we shared.
I am a psychotherapist and elementary school teacher. I received a BS from Boston College and an MSW from Rhode Island College, School of Social Work. There were exactly 25 years between each of my degrees during which time I was a stay-at-home Mom. My life was focused on my family, my sons' school activities, their sports and community affairs.
